The Community Sports Hall is suitable for a wide range of events and activities on a regular basis or just as a one off hire. View our brochure to the right, or alternatively download here.


Hire prices vary depending on the size of hall you require (half or full room) and what time of day (peak/off-peak). The hire price includes tables and chairs set up, cleaning and packing away by AFC staff. The bar is available for functions (except children’s birthday parties) inclusive of the room hire price.Hirer’s may wish to use our internal AV system, or alternatively hire their own entertainment in. All functions requiring catering must use our internal caterers. Any room decorations are the responsibility of the hirer.


With built in AV and projector systems, along with internal floor plug sockets and Wi-Fi, the hall is ideal for business meetings or seminars. Contact us for more information on times and hire prices.AFC can offer multiple business catering packages: breakfasts, lunches, canapes, refreshments.


We can hold up to 200 guests for evening dinners, with a wide range of set menu options available depending on your budget. Our fully stocked bar and catering team can provide a first class service for your event. We can provide additional room decorating options (tablecloths, centre pieces and chair covers) at further cost.

“We attended x2 football parties for my son as a guest which were both fabulous. So we didn’t hesitate in booking a football party for my son in Sept 2015.  Alty do football parties as it is a football club, they also specialise in youth sports and football training in the community. The football parties have structured football activities. The party we gave was ran by a coach who was also a proper AFC football player, the boys thought he was really great and all warmed to him straight away. He was excellent at balancing the football activities with boy spontaneous fun and they all loved it!
Food was healthy, simple picnic boxes butties, fruit, crisps, juice and refreshments for the adults was included (brews n biccies). The kids were all proud of their official AFC medals awarded on the day and the birthday boy loved his signed football… A great boy bonding afternoon…. What is there not to like?  5*”

Everything from start to finish was brilliant. Sophie was so helpful with the booking and she even liaised with Mess Around to check everything was in place and confirm all times etc. Venue was bright, clean and the staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.
We booked the hot kids buffet. It was really reasonably priced and there was so much food. All food was hot and fresh. Kids loved it. They even called me the day after the party to check everything went OK. Would definitely book this venue again and would 100% recommend!”
